Title III Mission
To improve the academic quality, institutional management, and fiscal stability of LSUA, in order to increase our self – sufficiency and strengthen our capacity to make substantial contribution to the higher education resources of the Nation.
Title III is a five year grant funded project focusing on Improving Academic Quality. Title III consists of three components:
- Advising Center Development
- Faculty Research
- Faculty and staff development
The Title III project addresses five significant focus areas:
- Student retention
- A dual academic advising system
- Faculty research
- Professional development opportunities for faculty and staff
- Funding to sustain development opportunities established by Title III
